The B-tree
I once saw on a TV programme that they had kept the placenta after birth as a memento. To have a nice memory of it, they planted it under a tree. It would be very fertile for this plant.
Because I really liked this, I thought about asking the midwife, after a super intense delivery, if they would put the placenta in a bag to take away. They looked strange for a moment because that was not usual. I didn't see the placenta myself but the father took it with him.
At Natura plants, she heard of the birth. A tree was selected for B.. She immediately felt that a Liquidambar was best for him. A day after the birth, the dad and grandma went to plant the tree with the placenta underneath. I myself could not be there because of the recovery. Regularly I go to the tree with B. to look at it and hold it. B. can stand, sit, walk around with it for a while. It is growing well. It is something beautiful in the garden that immediately evokes memories.
